1. Business model
Roll out of business model and configured ERP system (SAP) in various countries in EMEA for a large Telecom equipment manufacturer; simultaneously this involved also the outsourcing of Finance operations to a shared service center (SSC) and a new (Principle based) tax model.
2. FOC (Flexible Office Concept)
Implementation (in close cooperation with the works-council) for offices in 2 locations bringing the housing cost per head down with 50% in one year; involved were more as 500 employees and a differentiated flex factor was established per type of function.
3. Corporate merger
Which involved the closure of various legal entities, tax issues (VAT and CIT) and alignment of the HR policies (a.o. leasecars) and alignment of the Collective Labour Agreement (agreed with Unions)
4. Cost Saving exercise
For a HQ driven local organization which brought the full organizational cost down with more then 30%. Besides the impact of a downsizing in staff (about50% of the savings) in all areas as housing, IT, mobile call charges and Travel considerable savings were realized in a timeframe of 2 years
5. Pension Fund (recovery)
Establishment of a new investment plan for a large Pension Fund based on Liability matching; given the structure of the Fund the investment approach needed to be very conservative. Also involved was the set up of a recovery plan and the negotiation on board level of the (very substantial) extra recovery payments form the employer.
